Enhancing Oregon's State of Emergency Declaration

Enhancing Oregon's State of Emergency Declaration

Currently, Oregon's State of Emergency as relates to housing is associated with disruptive weather conditions or fires.

We believe this policy is grossly  insufficient and must include:

  •  Economic downturns
  •  Rising Inflation (food, rents, energy)
  •  Layoffs & job losses
  •  High rates of Evictions/ Homelessness
  • Mortage defaults

Our Advocacy Goals

Our indeavor is creating a community-based and controlled housing system for working-class people.

We believe housing should be used to house people, not using housing primarily as an investment tool.

We believe housing is a human right & must to be accessible & affordable to people of all incomes.

No one should lose their home because they:Retire, lose their job, suffer a major illness, get divorced or are victims of domestic violence.

"Forging a path toward housing access, equity and stability
